Soundscape Campus was 4 days of interdisciplinary discussion, field practices and artistic production from the sound environments of FCT Campus. We aimed not only to provide this different exploration of the campus through sound, but also to stimulate a broader discussion of acoustic space as a phenomenon that allows us to reflect on our relationship with the environment and the historical transformations to which it is subject.

The workshop had a day of interdisciplinary colloquium, where lectures were given by guests from the areas of History and Philosophy of Science and Technology, Engineering and Environmental Sciences, Acoustic Ecology and Sound Arts. The remaining day was devoted to the practice of soundwalks and field recordings. Following the CSF method, we will explore the FCT campus in search of landscapes and fragments of sound that were later reorganized into a collective sound piece.
